ta1‘The Original Tuskegee Airmen’ Panel: Colonel Charles McGee, Lt. Colonel Robert Ashby, Lt. Colonel Asa Herring, Colonel Dick Toliver & Dr. Thurston Gaines

The Tuskegee Airmen were dedicated, determined young men who enlisted to become America’s first black military airmen, at a time when there were many people who thought that black men lacked intelligence, skill, courage and patriotism. They came from every section of the country, with large numbers coming from New York
City, Washington, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Detroit. Each one possessed a strong personal desire to serve the United States of America at the best of his ability.

Those who possessed the physical and mental qualifications were accepted as aviation cadets to be trained initially as single-engine pilots and later to be either twin-engine pilots, navigators or bombardiers. Most were college graduates or undergraduates. Others demonstrated their academic qualifications through comprehensive entrance examinations. No standards were lowered for the pilots or any of the others who trained in operations, meteorology, intelligence, engineering, medicine or any of the other officer fields. Enlisted members were trained to be aircraft and engine mechanics, armament specialists, radio repairmen, parachute riggers, control tower operators, policemen, administrative clerks and all of the other skills necessary to fully function as an Army Air Corps flying squadron or ground support unit. The black airmen who became single-engine or multi-engine pilots were trained at Tuskegee Army Air Field (TAAF) in Tuskegee Alabama. The first aviation cadet class began in July 1941 and completed training nine months later in March 1942. Thirteen started in the first class. Five successfully completed the training, one of them being Captain Benjamin O. Davis, Jr., a West Point Academy graduate. The other four were commissioned second lieutenants, and all five received Army Air Corps silver pilot wings.

From 1941 through 1946, nine hundred and ninety-six pilots graduated at TAAF, receiving commissions and pilot wings. Black navigators, bombardiers and gunnery crews were trained at selected military bases elsewhere in the United States. Mechanics were trained at Chanute Air Base in Rantoul, Illinois until facilities were in place in 1942 at TAAF. Four hundred and fifty of the pilots who were trained at TAAF served overseas in either the 99th Pursuit Squadron (later the 99th Fighter Squadron) or the 332nd Fighter Group. The 99th Fighter Squadron trained in and flew P-40 Warhawk aircraft in combat in North Africa, Sicily and Italy from April 1943 until July 1944 when they were transferred to the 332nd Fighter Group in the 15th Air Force. The outstanding record of black airmen in World War II was accomplished by men whose names will forever live in hallowed memory. Each one accepted the challenge, proudly displayed his skill and determination while suppressing internal rage from
humiliation and indignation caused by frequent experiences of racism and bigotry, at home and overseas. These airmen fought two wars – one against a military force overseas and the other against racism at home and abroad.

The airmen who did not go overseas and trained at Selfridge Field, Michigan as bomber crew in the 477th Medium Bombardment Group experienced a great deal of racism. These highly trained military officers were treated as “trainees” and denied access to the base officers’ club, an act contradictory to Army regulations.
There was a rather heated reaction and the Group was transferred to Godman Field, Kentucky. The unfair treatment and hostility continued at Godman Field and in early 1945, the group was transferred to Freeman Field, Indiana where the hostilities finally reached a climax. When black officers tried to enter the Freeman Field Officers’ Club, against direct orders for them to stay out, one hundred and three officers were arrested, charged with insubordination and ordered to face court martial. The court martial proceedings were quickly dropped against one hundred of the officers; two officers eventually had their charges dropped and one officer, Lt. Roger “Bill” Terry, was convicted. Fifty years later, on August 12, 1995, at the Tuskegee Airmen National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, fifteen of the original one hundred and three officers that were arrested received official notification that their military records had been purged of any reference to the Freeman Field incident. Also, Mr. Terry’s court martial conviction had been reversed and his military record cleared. The remaining officers received instructions for clearing their records.

After the war in Europe ended in 1945, black airmen returned to the United States and faced continued racism and bigotry despite their outstanding war record. Tuskegee Army Air Field continued to train new airmen until 1946, with women entering the program in several support fields. Large numbers of black airmen elected to remain in the service but because of segregation their assignments were limited to the 332nd Fighter Group or the 477th Composite Group, and later to the 332nd Fighter Wing at Lockbourne Air Base, Ohio. Opportunities for advancement and promotion were very limited and this affected morale. Nevertheless, black airmen continued to perform superbly. In 1949, pilots from the 332nd Fighter Group took first place in the Air Force National Fighter Gunnery Meet at Las Vegas Air Force Base, Nevada. During this period, many white units were undermanned and needed qualified people but were unable to get the experienced black personnel because of the segregation policy.

The newly formed U.S. Air Force initiated plans to integrate its units as early as 1947. In 1948, President Harry Truman enacted Executive Order Number 9981 which directed equality of treatment and opportunity in all of the United States Armed Forces. This order, in time, led to the end of racial segregation in the military forces. This was also the first step toward racial integration in the United States of America. The positive experience,
the outstanding record of accomplishment and the superb behavior of black airmen during World War II, and after, were important factors in the initiation of the historic social change to achieve racial equality in America.

April 27, 28 & 29, 2011 Dannion Brinkley ‘Celebrating Life on Both Sides of the Veil’

April 27, 28 & 29 2011 Guest Dannion Brinkley is the New York Times best selling author of Saved by the Light and At Peace in the Light. His latest literary classic, co-authored with his wife, Kathryn Brinkley, is entitled, The Secrets of the Light: Lessons from Heaven. Dannion’s first bestseller, Saved by the Light, spent 26 weeks on the New York Times bestseller’s list and was made into a television motion picture by the Fox Network and has been seen by tens of millions of people, in over 30 countries, since 1995. To this day, it remains the highest rated made for television movie in Fox’s history, making Dannion a very popular radio and television guest. He has appeared on Oprah, Larry King LIVE, The Insider, Unsolved Mysteries, PAX TV, Dateline, Coast to Coast with George Noory, TLC, Lifetime and Discovery Channel – just to name a few.

After being struck in the side of the head by a bolt of lightning in 1975, at the age of 25, Dannion found himself traveling down a tunnel and into a brilliant Light. There he witnessed a panoramic review of his entire life on Earth. Afterwards, he was taken to a luminous Crystal City . There, within a Hall of Knowledge, Thirteen Beings of Light infused Dannion’s consciousness with visions of the world to come, and charged him with the spiritual mission of establishing Healing Centers on the Earth. Then, against his will, 28 minutes later, Dannion was returned to his lifeless body. Since that fateful evening in 1975, Dannion has been on an incomparable spiritual odyssey. Today, he is revered as ‘one of the greatest orators of our time’ offering a message of great hope and courage to audiences worldwide. His message is timely, true and beautifully simple: There is no such thing as death!

Dannion became a hospice and nursing home volunteer in 1978. In the past 30 years of volunteer service, he has been at the bedside of over 350 people at their moment of death, and with more than 1,800 people during their final days, accruing more than 26,000 hours of service at the bedside. In 1997, Dannion co-founded, The Twilight Brigade/Compassion in Action. Today, it is one of our nation’s largest non-profit organizations dedicated to the training of volunteers who serve as transition technicians at the bedside of our country’s priceless and beloved American war veterans. His wife, Kathryn, works at his side, as president of the organization. Since its inception, The Twilight Brigade has recruited nearly 6,000 volunteers who have accrued more than 250,000 reported hours at the bedside. With more than 76 million Baby Boomers now confronting the mortality of family members and friends, many of whom are Veterans, this program is providing a much-needed link to assure quality in end-of-life care. Having honorably served in the Marine Corps, Brinkley’s profound commitment to ‘death with dignity’ has inspired him to successfully devote his life to the creation of a reality where “no veteran need die alone.” Being recognized as a true American hero, on behalf of our Veterans, in 2007 Dannion was awarded the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service.

April 26, 2011: Guest Captain Ryan Lambert ‘Stories from the Gulf’

April 26, 2011. Captain Ryan Lambert – President of Cajun Fishing Adventures Lodge in Buras, Louisiana & Veteran Investigative Journalist Patrick J. O’Brien

New Legacy Series – Re-Mastered Radio Streaming Broadcast: April 30, 2014 (Original Broadcast April 26, 2011)

lambertGuest Captain Ryan Lambert is President and owner of Cajun Fishing Adventures Lodge in Buras, Louisiana. He is also Vice President of the Louisianan Charter Boat Commission, a member of the Coastal Conservation Commission and has testified before the House Natural Resources Committee on the effects of the BP oil spill. He has been a fishing guide in the waters of the Louisiana bayou for more than 30 years. He was recently quoted “This special place along the Gulf of Mexico is a national treasure, a place where you could cast a rod out into the warm waters and pull out a red fish or speckled trout like snapping your fingers. Used to be we’d head out for a few hours and come back with ice chests full of the freshest, tastiest seafood ever caught. Unfortunately, the BP oil disaster almost put an end to that. Last year, my fishing and hunting business was all but wiped out by the oil spill — I lost 94% of my business. I have 23 people working for me: 23 families dependent on the income. But no one wanted to come down to a place threatened by 170 million gallons of oil. All told, it has cost me $1.2 million in business losses already, with no end in sight. But BP compensated me for just 10% of that. BP Claims Administrator Kenneth Feinberg says he is making us business owners whole. Ten cents on the dollar? BP isn’t making us whole: It’s pressing business owners to the ropes in the hope that we’ll become desperate enough to accept the company’s “quick claim” $25,000 settlement offer.”

“The quick claim gives individuals $5,000 and business owners $25,000 if they sign away their rights to ever sue for more. If you don’t agree to this amount, you start a terrible process — constant delays, requests for more documentation, with no communications from BP. Most people can’t wait any longer to pay off their bills. Forgive me if I blanch when I see BP spending millions on public relations trying to convince Americans that it is “making it right” in the Gulf of Mexico. Here’s what making it right would look like. First, people like me would be compensated for our losses — fully, fairly and in a timely fashion, before we lose our homes, our boats and our businesses.”
Second, the Congress would ensure that the fines BP pays for polluting our waters would go toward restoring the Gulf. Unless a law is passed, those fines — which will likely amount to billions of dollars — could instead be set aside for some future oil spill. That doesn’t make sense. The money needs to go to correct the harm done here. Our lawmakers need to act. Third, we must put in place a responsible Gulf restoration plan that deals with the devastation of this catastrophic spill while also addressing the long-term health of our wetlands. The Louisiana wetlands — the nursery to fish, birds and shellfish and the foundation of life in the Gulf — are eroding before our eyes. We’re losing thousands of acres each year. It didn’t start with the BP blowout, but the oil has made matters worse, killing marsh grasses and other front-line vegetation that helps to hold our precious wetlands in place. A comprehensive restoration plan must address the diverse causes of this erosion while we still have wetlands here to protect.

Finally, Congress, the oil and gas industry and the Obama administration must work together to strengthen the safeguards we all rely on to protect our workers, our waters and wildlife. As Gulf fishermen and outdoorsmen, we’ve lived with the petroleum industry all our lives. We mourned the loss of the 11 workers who died aboard the Deepwater Horizon last April. And we understand that rig workers need to make a living. But this work has to be done safely. It has to be done right. The approach some lawmakers would take, rushing the permitting process in ways that would put our workers and waters at needless risk, is something we just can’t afford. The stakes, for our home and our country, are just too high. Six years ago, Hurricane Katrina blew 24 feet of water into my fishing lodge, the business I’d devoted my career to building, the sole means of support for myself and my family. I rebuilt that lodge nail by nail. I rebuilt my business, too. Now, I’m praying that I can hang on once again, not from a natural disaster this time, but from a corporate calamity inflicted on this special region I call home.

“You see, this is more than just business to me. This is about saving a national treasure. It’s about making our people whole. It’s about making sure nothing like this ever happens again.”

“The Gulf of Mexico Disaster” – The Deep Water Horizon MACADO 252 Disaster

louisThe Deepwater Horizon oil spill (also referred to as the BP oil spill, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill or the Macondo blowout) is a massive ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, now considered the largest offshore spill in U.S. history. Some estimates placed it by late May or early June as among the largest oil spills in the world with tens of millions of gallons spilled to date. The spill stems from a sea floor 10,000 foot deep oil gusher (MC252) that followed the April 20, 2010 Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion. The explosion killed 11 platform workers and injured 17 others. The gusher, now estimated by the quasi-official Flow Rate Technical Group to be flowing at 20,000 to 40,000 barrels (840,000 to 1,700,000 US gallons; 3,200,000 to 6,400,000 litres) of crude oil per day, originates from a deepwater wellhead 5,000 feet (1,500 m) below the ocean surface. The exact spill flow rate is uncertain in part because BP has refused to allow independent scientists to perform accurate measurements and is a matter of ongoing debate. The resulting oil slick covers a surface area of at least 2,500 square miles (6,500 km2), with the exact size and location of the slick fluctuating from day to day depending on weather conditions.

Scientists have also reported immense underwater plumes of oil not visible at the surface. Experts fear that the spill will result in an environmental disaster, with extensive impact already on marine and wildlife habitats. The spill has also damaged the Gulf of Mexico fishing and tourism industries. There have been a variety of ongoing efforts to stem the flow of oil at the wellhead. Crews have been working to protect hundreds of miles of beaches, wetlands and estuaries along the northern Gulf coast, using skimmer ships, floating containment booms, anchored barriers, and sand-filled barricades along shorelines. The U.S. Government has named BP as the responsible party in the incident, and officials have said the company will be held accountable for all cleanup costs resulting from the oil spill.

At approximately the same time, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf occurred. Within a day after the disaster, one of his product vendors called him and said they had an environmentally-safe product that could solve the oil issue. In trying to introduce this product to the BP Corporation, he felt strongly that he was being stonewalled first by BP, and then by the Deepwater Horizon representatives. This led him on an investigative trail that uncovered the dispersant product BP had continued to use in the Gulf of Mexico. A very toxic product to humans and highly harmful to the delicate ecosystems of the Gulf. As the story continued to unravel around the plight of the Haitians, combined with the untold complexity surrounding the Gulf oil spill, unanswered questions slowly began to link many of the issues that the mainstream media was not exposing. As fortune would have it, he had the opportunity to work with David William Gibbons to further develop the story as a journalist. Since the disaster that robbed the souls of eleven in the Gulf of Mexico, he dedicated himself to finding answers and solutions to the BP spill. As he and his research team discovered and verified that the dispersant product being used by BP was a poison that had been banned for use in the UK since 1998. He felt an obligation to reveal their findings to the world by joining the David Gibbons “In Discussion” program later to become DG Networks.

April 22 & 23 – Two Part Series Author James Redfield ‘The Celestine Vision’

View program page.

JamesRedfieldApril 22 & 23, 2011 Guest Author James Redfield – James Redfield was 43 when he published The Celestine Prophecy. He has been keenly interested in human spirituality all of his life. Born on March 19, 1950, he grew up in a rural area near Birmingham, Alabama. From an early age, he was motivated by a need for clarity about spiritual matters. Brought up in a Methodist Church that was loving and community-oriented, he was nevertheless frustrated by a lack of answers to his questions about the true nature of spiritual experience.

As a young man, he studied Eastern philosophies, including Taoism and Zen, while majoring in sociology at Auburn University.

He later received a Master’s degree in counseling and spent more than 15 years as a therapist to abused adolescents. During this time, he was drawn into the human potential movement and turned to it for theories about intuitions and psychic phenomena that would help his troubled clients. All along, Redfield was forming ideas that would eventually find their way into The Celestine Prophecy. In 1989, he quit his job as a therapist to write full-time, synthesizing his interest in interactive psychology, Eastern and Western philosophies, science, futurism, ecology, and history.

Using an adventure parable approach that has been called “part Indiana Jones, part Scott Peck,” The Celestine Prophecy created a model for spiritual perception and actualization that resonated with millions of people and focused on the mysterious coincidences that occur in each of our lives. Disdaining the spotlight himself, Redfield proclaimed in The Celestine Prophecy that each of us must intuit his own spiritual destiny.

As he writes in The Celestine Vision, his non-fiction title published in 1997, “The actual writing of The Celestine Prophecy occurred from January 1989 through April 1991 and was characterized by a sort of trial-and-error process. Quite amazingly, as I remembered earlier experiences and wrote about them, lacing them into an adventure tale, striking coincidences would occur to emphasize the particular points I wanted to make. Books would show up mysteriously, or I would have timely encounters with the exact sort of individuals I was attempting to describe. Sometimes strangers would open up to me for no apparent reason and tell me about their spiritual experiences.”

After the self-published book was brought to the attention of Warner Books through a perceptive sales rep, Warner Books bought the rights and published the hard cover edition in March 1994. The book quickly climbed to the #1 position on the New York Times bestsellers list. It remained on that list for more than three years, joined by The Tenth Insight, which built upon the Nine Insights revealed in the first novel. The two books spent a combined 74 weeks on the New York Times list, making James Redfield the best-selling hard cover author in the world in 1996, as cited in BP Report (January 1997).

In October 1997, James Redfield was awarded the highly prestigious Medal of the Presidency of the Italian Senate at the XXIII Pio Manzu International Conference in Rimini, Italy. Pio Manzu is a nongovernmental arm of the United Nations headed up by Mikhail Gorbachev.

In the spring of 2000, James joined Millard Fuller, founder of Habitat For Humanity, as the only two recipients of Humanitarian of the Year honors from their alma mater, Auburn University. Two months later, he was honored by the International New Thought Alliance with another Humanitarian of the Year award.

The Celestine series of adventure parables continued in 1999 with the publication of The Secret of Shambhala: In Search of the Eleventh Insight (Warner Books). Set in modern day Tibet, Redfield continued the inspiring journey of The Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight—carrying readers to a new adventure in a sacred place where truths that can affect all of humanity await. In 2002, James joined author Michael Murphy and filmmaker Sylvia Timbers in a collaborative work entitled God and the Evolving Universe (J.P. Tarcher).

In March 2004, James Redfield was honored by the Wisdom Media Group with the World View Award for engaging the discussion on the nature of human existence and for his ongoing efforts and contributions to the bettering of humanity.

The fourth and final book in the Celestine series, The Twelfth Insight: The Hour of Decision, was published by Grand Central Publishing (formerly Warner books) in February, 2011.

James lives with his wife, Salle, and dog Toby in Florida and Alabama.

April 15, 2011 Guest Jeddah Mali ‘Changing the Paradigm of the Planet’

Listen/view program. April 15, 2011 Guest Jeddah Mali – We all want to live life to the fullest, find happiness, be in rewarding relationships, understand others well, respond to them with patience and compassion, have a sense of connectedness and belonging, laugh with unbridled joy, feel safe and secure, feel a sense of purpose, contribute positively to our world and feel good about who we are.

But do we consistently think, feel and act in a way that brings these things into our lives? In my own journey to freedom, I discovered that it is only when I fully aligned with Universal Energy that the Universe revealed these secrets. It is operating from sincere belief in ourselves as the Divine Source that reveals to us our never-lost freedom. The extent to which we deny or reject this belief shows up as struggle. It is the paradigm from which we operate that shapes our lives and determines whether we are on course with our life purpose.

The vibrational frequency of the Earth is reaching a quantum point. The increasingly available light on the planet now means that more and more people are able to transform their thinking and realign their intentions towards individual and collective health, happiness and harmony. I work as an envoy for a group of advanced spiritual masters who oversee our planet’s evolution. Through myself, and others, they are bringing forth teachings on how to align yourself directly with this Source.

We select several people each year to mentor in depth in our Group Mentoring Programme as well as providing Retreats, Teleseminar courses and the Changing the Paradigm CD Series. Generally, they are people who have reached a preliminary understanding by themselves and are ready to proceed further, but need expert assistance to break through the glass ceiling that tends to form to reach more advanced understanding. As a spiritual teacher, I follow no creed, no text, no doctrine, no philosophy and no book. I align with Source energy and all teachings come from that place.

This work is most suited to people who are ready for the next step; that of moving away from commonly accepted thinking into a much more expansive view of Life. One that will shift their entire paradigm to a new level. It is important to emphasize that this transformation can only occur through direct experience. It is of little use to read about it, talk about it or even have a thorough intellectual understanding of it. Only sincere practice yields results. For this reason, much of the detailed instruction we offer takes place in a meditative state, when the mind is in an alpha pattern. This enhances perception, understanding and integration.

Jeane Manning BA., New Energy Researcher & Author ‘The New Energy Movement’

Listen to program. April 13, 2011 Guest Jeane Manning BA., New Energy Researcher & Author ‘The New Energy Movement’ When she was born – in Cordova, on Alaska’s pristine Prince William Sound – Jeane’s father was a lawman. Later he moved the family to a farm in northern Idaho, where she continued contemplating nature – and human nature. She earned her way through the University of Idaho and an honors B.A. in Sociology.

Marriage, a job in social work, and three children – Teresa, Jay and Stan – followed. After moving to the Okanagan Valley of western Canada, she parented while writing for newspapers and a regional magazine. She’s also been an editor, counsellor, Big Brothers’ executive director, and publicist for a theater company that traveled in gypsy wagons pulled by Clydesdale horses.

In 1981 Jeane had encountered an electrician who invented a potentially revolutionary magnetic motor/generator. Through him and his wife she met others in the “free-energy underground” from Germany to South Africa, and discovered books about Nikola Tesla and other unsung pioneer inventors.

The implications of their inventions included two of her concerns – ecology and social justice. During the 1980′s, she began researching for a book about this fascinating movement and its people. More ….

April 14, 2011 Guest Dr. Adelia Maria Batista

April 14, 2011 Guest Dr. Adelia Maria Batista Dr. Adelia Maria Batista was born Adelia Maria Batista de Souza in the state of Minas Gerais Brazil during the spring of 1963. The beautiful town of Sete Lagoas is known for its seven lakes that define the beauty of this region. She is the eldest daughter of Domingo Lollobridga de Souza a lawyer and politician and Leda Francisca Batista de Souza a teacher. Dr. Batista grew up in a large family with seven brothers and sisters.
Her life has always been immersed in spirituality where joy and freedom is in abundance. This background is evident in her work today, reflected by an equilibrium and balance taught through important values from birth. In this the recognition of Mother Earth and Father Sky guided and presented the importance of liberty, freedom of speech and respect for fellow man. She also lives by the parodies of biblical context believing that faith without passion is flawed. To achieve this she has always realized that education was the key to understanding life’s rich tapestry. In that regard she worked as a teacher before moving into the medical field.
She married at an early age bringing up four children during which she continued to study at medical college. Her eldest daughter was born immediately following her graduation party during which she had danced for many hours in celebration.
Dr. Adelia Maria Batista has now been a medical doctor for some eighteen years. Her four children Lara, Ulisses, Thais and Ana Carolina remain by her side since her divorce and have become her mainstay in life.
She is a humanitarian and has worked endlessly towards honoring the goals of that position. Since a young age she has been involved with many charities and organizations including rotary for teenagers, youth church groups, the Saint Vincent charity, meditation groups, musical and dancing teams and theological studies. Her love of music led her to learn the guitar and sing from an early age. This activity directed her life towards the creation of bridges between people who shared her pastimes. During this time she also learnt five languages realizing the importance of communication in a global marketplace. All these emerging lessons brought a sense of advocacy towards justice, peace and sustainability in a world where suppression and addictions are clearly evident.
Also during this journey she realized the importance of sexual education and subsequently became a sexologist working passionately in a challenging field of medicine. As this work expanded she became acutely aware of the hypocrisy in an area of life where people close their eyes to basic and essential truths. She successfully developed a program in adult sexual education called K.I.S.S. – M.E. © The resulting projects involved involvement in the field of sexually transmitted diseases, where she worked with HIV patients for ten years. She finally became state coordinator in the Brazilian HIV-AIDS program. She moved eventually into the non-governmental organization arena engaged in the same pursuits, including focus on sexual diversity where she remains to this day. As part of this NGO work in the humanitarian field she realized the out of date principles evident in a system serving global crises. To expand her own capabilities she looked at courses dedicated to further education in pursuance of this work. Medic Force in New York deemed to meet those needs, but as of yet she has not had the opportunity to put them into practice.
In 2010 she worked in Haiti following a deadly natural disaster that left many people suffering from Cholera among many other epidemic diseases. The organization Doctors without borders invited her to tour as a voluntary MD which was to immediately become an honor and profound opportunity.
Dr. Adelia Maria Batista came away from the experience realizing that Haiti as with so many countries finding themselves in the same circumstances, does not seek charity. They instead require support and subsidies in the form of tools and mentors towards basic facilities in health care, education and nutrition.
The idea and creation of the book “Bridges: Life’s Connections” was birthed during her time in a country she came to love. It is to associations in Haiti one of which was introduced by fellow Dr. Jhon Douyon, that she has devoted this book to and hopes that the sales support their causes. After a life’s yearning in finding the idea of developing bridges between people and places she has now met the dream.
The projects has been adopted by many friends made over the internet and they themselves have reached out in becoming contributors and friends. She receives photographs of bridges from many people who share her love for places full of memories and solidarity. Among them the well-known advocate for peace and justice Patch Adams has reached out to support the book.
Most recently she asked writer, humanitarian and broadcaster David William Gibbons to co-author the book. He accepted believing in a project that illustrates parity with his own programming ‘Crossing over the Bridge.’
Her passion to write has now come to fruition following many years of encouragement by Jamaican writer Leroy Heggin. This journey and point at which she now finds herself, brings alive the means by which a dream can become a reality. By connecting with a world of contacts she has found the solution to telling her truth and faith in humanity.
From the emergency rooms in Brazil, work as consultant in the STD-AIDS area to her private surgery schedule, she passionately continues the dreams and visions held for a lifetime. She believes passionately in free speech and continues to prove the impulsive and rebellious character that has defined her life’s journey. In her private time away from work, she enjoys the writings and work of people like Patch Adams, Elton John and Carlos Drummond de Andrade. Saint Francis of Assisi is a hero since childhood. Even her own cook Ana Lucia has taught her immeasurable lessons in the way in which all people from all walks of life can become teachers in their own right and a bridge to other souls.

April 8, 2011 Guest Hazel Courtney ‘Countdown to Coherence’

April 8, 2011 Guest Hazel Courtney ‘Countdown to Coherence’ In 1994 I became the UK’s first Alternative Health Agony Aunt in the national press, with my column What’s The Alternative in the Daily Mail. In 1997 I moved to the Style Section of the Sunday Times and was thrilled to be voted Health Journalist of the Year.

In 1998 I left the Sunday Times to concentrate on writing more books and you can find details of all my health and spiritual books in the MY BOOKS section of this site.

In 2000 I made my own TV show for Channel Health, and have appeared many times on TV and radio, and regularly lecture around the UK and overseas.

Dimensions at In Discussion Guest Mike Quinsey ‘The World of Prophecy & Star Peoples’

April 7, 2011 Mike Quinsey – I have two sons, Alan and Colin who have both done me proud. My wife Cathy keeps me on my toes, and I am lucky enough to be married to an excellent cook. To her credit, she tolerates my interests which take up a lot of my spare time, which is mainly reading, and since I retired in December 1999 I have moved more into the Computer world, giving me the opportunity to circulate my articles and enjoy the multitude of websites available.

My education was at my local Grammar School, I never hit the high spots, but it proved to be a good grounding for later life. I have always found myself in electrical or mechanical companies, in Sales or Service, and had my share of management positions, spending my last 30 years as a Sales Representative.

Pastimes/hobbies are writing articles, and occasionally giving talks on my pet subjects covering ET’s, UFO’s, Healing and Spiritual matters. I love my garden and the roses in particular. I help keep my fitness by still playing in competitive Table Tennis, some 47 years altogether.

I found my spiritual path in the late 70’s through The Atlantean Society, ran my own Branch soon after, during which time I started a section called The Universal Network that supported Tuella and her work with Ashtar. I then started Galacticom Europa to cover the messages from Ashtar through Carole Hall. In conjunction with all of this, I produced my own magazine called the ‘Messenger’. During this period I had my most convincing UFO sighting, one of several all told. After these activities had ran their course, I returned to giving talks, until the mid 90’s when I became Editor for a local magazine called Quest, which is devoted to spiritual growth and enlightenment. All of my experience is now embodied in my work for the magazine, and this website.

My affinity is with ancient Egypt and Atlantis, having found the readings of Edgar Cayce of considerable help. I am told I was a High Priest in Egypt, but have no waking memory of this or any other incarnation.

I believe that I will like many, many others, go through to Ascension without dying to Earth. It is after all, a physical Ascension.
