Walter Bowman Russell

wr8In 1921, at the age of 49, Walter Russell experienced his Illumination into the Light of Cosmic Consciousness during a thirty-nine day and night period. (May/June) His family even consulted specialists in order to decide if he had to be admitted into a psychiatric clinic. Fortunately these doctors were very impressed by his recordings and sensed, that something great was happening.

The Universal One is Walter Russell’s first expression of his new Cosmogony explaining the Mind-centered electromagnetic universe. Russell later revised some of the content of The Universal One in The Secret of Light and A New Concept of the Universe. Students of the Russell science should be aware of the historic sequence of Walter Russell’s books of science, and note the various changes in details which Walter Russell himself made. Nikola Tesla told Walter Russell to hide his cosmogony from the world for a thousand years. Though a century or more ahead of its time, The Universal One, uniting spiritual Cause and scientifically observable Effect in a seamless whole, is now appealing to the many people–scientists and laymen alike–who are examining the nature of science and consciousness. In this 1926 historic volume, Walter Russell first reveals the possibility of transmutation of the elements. This is a universe of Mind, a finite universe, limited as to cause, and to the effect of cause. A finite universe, in which the effects of cause are limited, must also be limited as to cause; so when that measurable cause is known, then can man comprehend and measure all effects. The effects of cause are complex and mystify man, but cause itself is simple. The universe is a multiplicity of changing effects of but One unchanging cause. All things are universal. Nothing is which is not universal. Nothing is of itself alone. Man and Mind and all creating things are universal. No man can say: ‘I alone am I.’ There is but One universe, One Mind, One force, One substance. When man knows this in measurable exactness he will he have no limitations within those which are universal.” — Walter Russell, from The Prelude to The Universal One. Part I: Creation; The Life Principle; Mind, The One Universal Substance; Thinking Mind; The Process of Thinking; Thinking Registered in Matter; Concerning Appearances; The Sex Principle; Sex Opposites of Light; The Reproductive Principle; Energy Transmission; A Finite Universe; A Dimensionless Universe; Concerning Dimension; The Formula of Locked Potentials; Universal Oneness; Omnipresence; Omnipotence; Omniscience. aa1Allen Lee Adkins – After growing up in suburban Dallas and Houston, Texas Allen embarked on a wide array of life experiences from traveling the world as a merchant marine engineer and moving to Hawaii where he began a life-long interest in meditation and health and healing practices to starting high-tech companies in Silicon Valley and becoming a pioneer in the CD-ROM technology – developing among the very first CD-ROM applications and pioneering the first PC based CD-ROM recording systems. During this time he has widely traveled to 50 countries with extensive travel to Japan and Europe. While on a journey to India to deliver recording equipment to the Dalia Lama, Allen went to Kathmandu, Nepal to study Sanskrit and Ayurvedic Medicine with Dr. Manna Vajra who had carried on this practice in his family lineage for 1,000 years. This and subsequent early work with raw and living foods in the mid 1970’s was to form a life long focus and passion for understanding the intricacies of our human life and health secrets. After moving from Hawaii to California in 1979, Allen took a turn toward high technology at a critical time in the burgeoning Silicon Valley era from the mid 1980’s to the mid 1990’s.

“Truly, there is that special something in all of us that beckons us to search for what we humans call The Truth. Certainly, for most of us, we do not know what that special something is, and depending on the person, we have various ideas or feelings about it. We are lead to find it each in our own way, if we ever do in this life. Though there can be similar journeys, we each come to find it in our own particular way and in our own particular time. It is not a race to see who gets there first.
For me, in my journey, what has resonated the most as being the closest representation of the Truth, at least in extant writings, is the Spiritual Philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism of Northern India. Through my own spiritual experience, I know it to actually be The Truth, as we might say, or rather it accurately points to the Truth, which can only be actually known experientially.

Then some years ago, I happened to come across the work of Walter Russell. I immediately recognized it as being a real and genuine and the result of genuine spiritual insight – the kind that can only come from a real true experience of the Divine. I knew this because I had my own genuine experiences as a frame of reference. Walter Russell’s first major book was The Universal One, and when I started reading it, I realized that this was likely the ONLY known book that actually explained, in remarkably detailed and precise terms, so very much about how the Divine creates this Universe. It then took quite some time and effort to first un-learn previous erroneous teachings (what is taught to us in schools and organized religion) and relearn using my own true inner intuition and the writings of Walter Russell in the form of his “The Universal One”.

And as it would happen, I came into contact with David Gibbons through a mutual acquaintance, and at some point was able to share my feelings about Walter Russell’s work and its significance. One thing led to another and we started a nearly two-year, Chapter by Chapter review and commentary of this wonderful and extraordinary book. It has only served to further and deepen my own understanding and “make it more real” as I have been able to focus on it even more and know the Truth of it by visualizing each part and experiencing it resonating with my own deep inner sense of the Truth.

A journey through human life is rare and precious, whether or not we know, or even have a sense of that. What is even more rare and precious is finding something that genuinely can help us find and realize the Truth. The Universal One, written by Walter Russell is just such a find. And in a world so filled with ignorance, delusion and lack of trust, to find such a treasure is nothing but pure Grace. With All of my Heart, I can feel delighted to recommend it to all brothers and sisters of our human race, without any doubt whatsoever, as a Shining Beacon of Light on any ones path. May our work to make it perhaps more accessible to others facilitate the process of the greatest of all human adventures – the journey to our own Inner Self.”
