Richard Barrett is an author, speaker and social commentator on the evolution of human values in business and society. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Barrett Values Centre and an internationally recognized thought leader on values, culture and leadership. He is a Fellow of the World Business Academy, Member of the Wisdom Council of the Centre for World Spirituality, Honorary Board Member of the Spirit of Humanity Forum, and Former Values Coordinator at the World Bank. He is the creator of the internationally recognized Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT) which have been used to support more than 5,000 organizations in 60 different countries on their transformational journeys. To date, more than 4,000 change agents and consultants have been trained by the Barrett Values Centre to use the Cultural Transformation Tools in over 50 countries. Over the past ten years, Richard Barrett has been called upon to support the leaders of major national and multinational organizations in Australia, South Africa, Canada, UK, USA and Sweden. The focus of this work has been on helping the leaders of these organizations to improve the performance of their organizations by building values-driven cultures.

 

From 2007, up to the present, Richard has spearheaded the Barrett Values Centre’s work in mapping the values of over twenty nations. These include: Australia, Belgium, Bhutan, Canada, Finland, France, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Nigeria, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States. Richard has been a visiting lecturer at the Consulting and Coaching for Change, leadership course run by the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and HEC in Paris. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at Royal Roads University, Institute for Values-based Leadership, and a visiting lecturer at the One Planet MBA at Exeter University.

Barrett Values Centre

rb6The Barrett Values Centre (BVC) provides powerful metrics that enable leaders to measure and manage the cultures of their organizations, and the leadership development needs of their managers and leaders.

The core products of the organisation are the Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT).   The Cultural Transformation Tools have been used to map the values of over 6,000 organisations and 3,000 leaders in 90 countries. The Cultural Transformation Tools are used by corporations, NGOs, government and municipal agencies, communities, schools and nations. The CTT values assessment instruments are available in over 50 languages.

 

Kingsley L. Dennis Ph.D. Author and Futurist

mainmar12Kingsley Dennis, PhD, is a sociologist, researcher, and writer. He co-authored ‘After the Car’ (Polity, 2009), which examines post-peak oil societies and mobility. He is also the author of ‘New Consciousness for a New World’ (2011); as well as ‘The Struggle for Your Mind: Conscious Evolution & The Battle to Control How We Think’ (2012). He is also the co-editor of ‘The New Science & Spirituality Reader'(2012). Kingsley worked in the Sociology Dept. at Lancaster University, UK, and is now a visiting fellow at the Centre for Mobilities Research (CeMoRe) at Lancaster Uni. He is now collaborating with the new paradigm Giordano Bruno GlobalShift University, is a co-initiator of the Worldshift Movement and a co-founder of WorldShift International. Kingsley is the author of numerous articles on complexity theory, social technologies, new media communications, and conscious evolution. As well as academic training Kingsley has also lived and worked for many years overseas, including five years in Turkey. He currently lives in Andalusia in Spain and is working on new book material. He continues to research, write, travel, grow his own vegetables, and seeks answers to many questions.
